Peter Morgan
Peter set-up jcoverage in the belief that developers would have significant productivity payoff by having quality tools to make the job of testing software easier.
jcoverage is Peter’s second technology-based start-up, as he co-founded EJBHome in 1998, together with Malcolm Sparks. EJBHome delivered the first implementation of the Enterprise JavaBeans v1.0 specification. EJBHome was acquired by IONA in February 1999, and Peter became the team lead, coach and mentor for the IONA J2EE application server team.
As well as being Distinguished Engineer, Peter was responsible for introducing test-first design and Extreme Programming which was consequently adopted globally across the company. Prior to setting-up EJBHome, Peter worked in a variety of startup companies and consulted on major projects for companies such Reuters and the Financial Times.
Peter holds a Bsc(Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. He can be reached at pmorgan@jcoverage.com.
